Sales Tax Policy

Moving On IT Solutions, LLC is required to collect Sales and Use Tax for purchases made in a number of states. Orders are accepted with the understanding that such taxes and charges shall be added, as required by law.

Where applicable, Moving On IT Solutions LLC will charge sales tax unless you have a valid sales tax exemption certificate on file with Moving On IT Solutions LLC.

Moving On IT Solutions LLC will not refund tax amounts collected in the event a valid sales tax exemption certificate is not provided. If you are exempt from sales tax, you must forward a copy of your sales tax exemption certificate to Accounting@movingonit.com

All resale certificates and exemptions are checked periodically to ensure that they are active and have not expired.  All customers are required to keep their information up to date and new forms submitted periodically to maintain exemption.  

Applicable sales tax will be added to sales shipped to the states listed below:

• Florida
• Arkansas
• Texas
• Massachusetts
  
  

Except as otherwise noted, prices shown do not include any federal, state, district, city, or local taxes, or any other taxes or charges imposed by any government authority.

In states where Moving On IT Solutions LLC is not required to collect and pay Sales Tax, the purchaser is obligated to self-report and pay the Sales and/or Use Tax to the purchaser’s appropriate state and/or local Department of Revenue.
